Shops, Bega

Shops, Bega

An interesting block of shops in Bega. I presume they were built at the same time yet it is clearly a pair of shops with a third 'added on'. Perhaps they are older shops that were made-over in deco style or the income from the first two was needed to complete the third.

    It is a credit to the youth of Bega that those lamp shades stay intact.

    The third shop might be an add-on, but at least the architect was keen to have the three shops integrated into a unified total. I like the roofline, which is not unusual, but I also like the decoration at shop front level - more unusual.
